When traveling to the Tahoe region we recommend flying into Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) or the Sacramento International Airport (SMF). Reno is about 52 miles and Sacramento is about 120 miles from Tahoe City. You will likely need to rent a car, which we recommend to allow for local exploration in the beautiful Tahoe Basin.
